Unfortunately, as you may already be aware, Le Chateau a Pape was destroyed tragically in a fire early Saturday morning, January 30th, 2010.  Le Chateau a Pape has been one of Greater Moncton's finest dining experiences for 85 Years.  This historic building has entertained celebrities, politicians, athletes and has given us some great memories Greater Monctonians some great memories.

Guillaume (Willie), to the family “Pape” Gosselin, father and grandfather to our present-day chefs, Pius, Pierre and Michel establish this tradition of excellence in 1925 when he opened his first Restaurant on Main Street. He later relocated on Steadman Street a stone’s throw from our current location.
